Hi Loves,
I’m so excited to be back chatting with you all again, because let’s face it...it’s been a little while! I feel a quick life update is in order! I promised to keep you all up to date on my bump style throughout my entire pregnancy, and I loved every minute of it. My last post was at 36 weeks, and in my sweet innocent first time mom mind I just knew it would be my last post. I was completely certain that there was no way I would make it to my due date. My belly was plenty big, and I knew that I would be having that sweet baby at any minute.
Boy, was I ever wrong!

Here I am, 41 weeks pregnant. The waiting game was starting to get to me, and by waiting I mean walking, lunges, eating spicy food, you name it, I tried it. So I decided a final blog post was in order. I mean, how often does someone get the chance to style a 41 week bump?! I must admit, that through all the swelling and not being able to put on my own shoes I loved getting to have that extra week with my sweet baby girl.
outfit styles for 41 weeks pregnancy
The Eve Overlay - $26 So sad to say, sold out in this print. However, we JUST restocked the leopard and you have to get your hands on it before it sells out again.
The Jack Boyfriend Tee - $24 The perfect maternity tee, postpartum tee, nursing tee, the list goes on. If you do nothing else, get yourself this tee. Trust me.

Fun fact...I went into labor one hour after taking these photos. I couldn’t walk myself into labor, but I guess I could style my way into it. I never got to write my 41 week bump date post, but I will cherish the photos from it forever.

Our little love, Everly Britt was born on June 30th, and instantly stole our hearts. You hear how amazing it is going to be, but nothing prepares you for the overwhelming amount of instant love you feel when you see your baby for the first time. If there are any fellow Mama’s reading this...can I get an amen?

first weeks home
The first few weeks home from the hospital were filled with love, exhaustion, and more love. How I dress has been one of my top priorities, since well forever. These past few weeks, all of that changed and all that has mattered is my time with my baby girl. I’ll just refer to that time in my life as the ‘PJ Phase’ and I am completely ok with that. I wouldn’t change those first few weeks for the world.

Now that I am starting to venture out of the house, I felt some ‘Cute Mom’ attire was necessary. As I have always said, just because your lifestyle has changed doesn’t mean that your style should!
See-ya-never maternity jeans! (well at least for now!)
I’ve put a few outfits together that I consider my ‘Mommy Essentials’ in that they are first and foremost cute, but then also comfortable and quick to throw on. (I never realized how quickly I was capable of getting ready until these past few weeks!)

This is my go to look. Perfect for running errands, and comfortable enough to wear around the house. Easy to dress up with a pair or heels, or down like I have it with my go-to converse.
This plaid top is nice and loose fitting, with some great added length. Nursing moms, this top is perfect since it easily unbuttons! Are you a Mom to be? This top would be perfect unbuttoned layered over your favorite tank! I love pieces that you can wear now and later.

Southern Evening Button Down Top $32

Dark Distressed Comfort Skinny $39 - Hello amazing price, and the name says it all. COMFY.

Fall is quickly approaching and I get giddy just thinking about pumpkin spice everything! This look is perfect to toss on for a coffee date with the girls, or in my case quick trips up to the office. This tee literally feels like you have gotten away with wearing pajamas, but has the cutest boyfriend fit. Added bonus, the V-neck is perfect for nursing Mom’s! Remember my 41 week bump picture above? Same tee, same size. I own it in every color and you should too. Throw on this adorable cardigan, available in 3 awesome colors and you are ready to be out the door.

Clavichord Suede Bootie $150

My hubby and I are big on date nights. With as hectic as life is right now, it is so nice to sneak out just the two of us even if it is just for a quick night out! Once again, it is important to be able to have options I can just throw on but still feel great in. Pregnancy changes your body, and you need clothes to hug you (or not) in all the right places more now than ever! I’m a girly girl, and I love this floral top. The cut is super flattering, and you can’t help but feel pretty while wearing it. Working Mama’s this is perfect for the office, and I promise you will still be comfortable all day long!

Seven for all Mankind Mid Rise Slim Illusion Skinny - $198 These jeans will take 10 pounds off of you instantly! Another splurge pair, but worth it. Click here for a budget friendly option! Both pairs are higher rise jeans, which I love for my post-pregnancy body.
Amulet Heel in Nude Leather $75.60 - These comfy heels just went on sale and go with everything!

Being a Mom is the hardest, most rewarding job in the entire world. Life gets really crazy, really fast, and that’s why it is so important to have essentials in your closet that you can grab and go. Motherhood is such a beautiful thing, you deserve to feel just as pretty!

Stay tuned as I continue my Mama Style, on this wonderful journey of motherhood.
