Chasing Autumn: Behind the Scenes September 2, 2015 16:00

Hello loves!

Steph here! Most of you don't know me, but I am the Impressions Online photographer a.k.a one of many people behind the scenes.
Fall is just around the corner and we are so excited to have finally been able to share our Chasing Autumn collection with you! It was an absolute blast to shoot. Cooler weather means cute layers, scarves, and booties (not to mention football season)! It has been so hard to pick our favorites from the collection--we want it all! If you're in the same boat, don't worry...We're here to help! We've picked out just a few things that we simply can't get enough of.

This shift dress by Meritt Clothing Label is one of our year-round favorites! It's not too long and it's not too short. Pair it with a scarf and booties for a warmer fall afternoon or throw on some skinnies or leggings for a chilly evening. The material is extra comfy and can be dressed up or down by changing or adding just a few accessories. Michaela likes to pull it off her shoulder for a fun and flirty look.

We all absolutely love how Sarah looks in this shift dress. The lace is girly, but the cut and flow of the dress give it more of a boho look. Pair this dress with fall-colored tights and booties on cool days. The neutral color of this dress pairs perfectly with fall colors, but also allows for winter, spring, and summer styling. Layer as much or as little as needed!

Shelby loves switching things up, which includes shooting an outfit sitting down rather than standing. This outfit is super comfy and cozy; it's perfect for those days you want to look cute, but stay comfortable. We are in love with this mock turtleneck sweater. It can be dressed up with a long necklace and heels or dressed down with booties. These pants, though they are leather, have a great stretch (thank you, Seven for All Mankind!) If you don't have a pair of Seven's, then you are missing out. They are the most comfy, stretchy, and stylish pants a girl could own. Not to mention, they look dressy without being uncomfortable--we can't ask for much more than that!
